Radiological Film Conversion

HITS has added the capability to digitize radiological films to their ever-expanding array of services. Radiological films are converted using an ACR-compliant film digitizer. Studies conducted by the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology and John Hopkins University demonstrate that this film digitizer produces a high quality image with no difference in a radiologist’s ability to make a correct diagnosis when reading from an original film, or these images on a high-resolution workstation. HITS is pleased to announce an online option for the storage of your scanned documents. As opposed to receiving images on CD/DVD that you must manage, HITS can store the images for you in our web based retrieval product. HITS uses proven, secure, web technology in order to provide universal access to your information and peace of mind that your information is safe. Multiple levels of access control and auditing allow our customers to stay in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Storing your information with HITS can also fulfill a need for an offsite backup in the case of a natural or man-made disaster rendering your primary facility unavailable.

STORE - 2 - SCAN

HITS is pleased to announce a new service now available: Store-2-Scan, Paper Storage to Scanned Images Conversion.

Are you bothered by the ongoing cost of storing medical records? If so, we have the solution for your space, storage and access problems.

With our new Store-2-Scan service, we store your paper records at our facility and convert the paper into scanned images while we store them. You will receive the newly converted digital images every month during the storage-to-conversion process. For little more than you would spend for storing records for 10 years, you are able to convert an entire year of records into scanned images, eliminating the need to pay for ongoing storage costs. And with digital files, you will experience ease and efficiency in retrieving and managing files.
